One of our standout products is Pregnenolone, also known as the “Grandmother Hormone,” a powerful supplement that supports everything from memory and mood to arthritis relief and energy levels.

What is Pregnenolone?

Pregnenolone is a natural hormone produced in the adrenal glands, brain, skin, and other parts of the body. It plays a crucial role in the creation of over 150 steroid hormones, including testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone. Pregnenolone serves as the foundation of these hormones, earning its title as the “Grandmother Hormone” due to its fundamental role in maintaining physical and mental health.

As we age, the natural production of pregnenolone declines, which can result in various health issues like fatigue, depression, cognitive decline, and more. Supplementing with pregnenolone can help maintain optimal levels and enhance overall well-being.

Benefits of Pregnenolone

  1. Cognitive Health and Memory Enhancement
Pregnenolone has been clinically proven to support brain health, significantly improving memory, mental clarity, and learning abilities. It is especially beneficial for older adults who experience age-related memory decline. By keeping brain functions at their peak, pregnenolone helps you stay sharp, focused, and creative.
  2. Stress Relief and Mood Enhancement
Stress can have a devastating impact on both your mental and physical health. Pregnenolone helps regulate cortisol levels, reducing stress and promoting calmness and mental well-being. This hormone also helps improve mood, reducing symptoms of depression and increasing your sense of happiness and well-being.
  3. Energy Boost
Pregnenolone enhances physical and mental energy, making you feel more alert and focused throughout the day. Whether you need more energy to tackle everyday tasks or want to maintain your productivity, pregnenolone is an effective solution.
  4. Support for Arthritis and Autoimmune Disorders
Pregnenolone has anti-inflammatory properties that help relieve arthritis pain and stiffness. It has shown promising results in treating conditions like Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, and other autoimmune disorders, providing relief and improving quality of life.
  5. Hormonal Balance and Anti-Aging Benefits
As a precursor to key hormones like testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone, pregnenolone helps maintain a balanced hormonal system. This balance is essential for managing menopause symptoms, maintaining muscle mass, and promoting longevity. By supporting hormonal health, pregnenolone can also improve skin quality, vision, and hearing, keeping you feeling and looking youthful.
  6. Alzheimer’s and Neurological Support
Studies have shown that pregnenolone may play a role in slowing down the progression of Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s, and other neurological disorders. By supporting nerve health and improving cognitive function, it helps maintain mental alertness and improves the quality of life for individuals affected by these conditions.

Pregnenolone – For improved memory and mental energy!

Pregnenolone is a natural hormone, produced primarily by the adrenal glands, but also in the brain, liver, skin, testicles and ovaries. It circulates in the body mostly in its water-soluble form, called Pregnenolone-sulfate, or “Preg-S”.

The chemical name is: 3-alpha-hydroxy-5-betapregnen-20-one. In the body, Pregnenolone is used as Pregnenolone itself, or it is converted to DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone), which in turn is converted into Androgens (e.g. Testosterone), Estrogens and to other steroids, and through another pathway it is metabolized to Progesterone.

Totally over one hundred and fifty different steroid hormones are made from Pregnenolone in the body – it generates a whole symphony of hormones – in short: “The symphony of life”.
If DHEA is referred to as “The Mother Hormone”, Pregnenolone will qualify to be called “The Grandmother Hormone”.

Pregnenolone was first prepared in a laboratory in 1934. Many human studies show that Pregnenolone could fight fatigue, relieve arthritis pains, improve well-being, mode and memory as well as fight stress.

Being a natural substance Pregnenolone cannot be patented, and therefore the drug companies have no interest in it, as they cannot make their regular 95%+ profit margin from it, and also as they cannot then fully control it themselves. They preferred to put their research money in cortisone instead in the 1940’s and 50’s.

Everyone knows the limitations and serious side-effects of this compound – the rest is history! Needless to say the pharmaceutical industry sees this as a threat, and is running active, vicious and extensive – and costly – discrediting campaigns, including spreading incorrect, even falsified, information on the “danger”/ safety using products like Pregnenolone.

The same is true for substances like Melatonin, DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone), Progesterone, Human Growth Hormone etc. It is interesting to note that there is a clear difference in the metabolism of Pregnenolone in human males and females – in males the metabolic pathway seems to favor conversion into Testosterone and in females the conversion into Estrogens.
